the battery is dead and it is in the trunk. how can you jump it

Your owners manual will have that jumper cable info. If you don't have an owners manual, we can show you where to look at one, for free, online. Positive to positive, positive cables.

From negative battery terminal, donor vehicle, to spare-tire stud on vehicle with problem. Also says to turn on blower motors on both vehicles to protect against electrical surge.
