WHY DOES MY 2004 FORD TAURUS SPEEDOMETER READ TOO HIGH? NO CODES, ENG IS 24V DOHC

Speedometer sometimes reads 10-30 mph higher than actual mph usually when going above 40mph. Ford dealer found nothing, said to bring it back when it does it more often.

Most likely a faulty Vehicle Speed Sensor will be hard to find if intermittent
