I have the 3.9 6-cyl, it runs fine but when you are cruising 55-60 and hit a small hill or incline and start to put a load on the engine it will start to cough occassionally and miss, But, if you kick it down and run it hard it has no miss at all. I put a can of Seafoam gas treatment in it with 6-gallon of 92-octane and it helped it quite a bit. ?

Gas tank additive rarely work. Direct injection of fuel cleaners are the only method that works.

It does sound like an injector issue.

Check fuel pressure.

Can you tell me what the pressure should be, and how to check it, with the engine running, or just with the key on, or what, And I also want to thank you for you answer.
