2004 Ford Freestar restart issue

When cold starts fine drive a mile shut off want restart
has spark an u can hear fule pump. I have replaced coil pack
cam sensor fule regulator plugs wires fule pump an filter
the two asserory relays are geting hot as well as pcm an fulepump
relays. I can see one mabe two getn hot but not all four relays
ive check wiring for defects no bare or broken wires ! Could the pcm
be causing the relays to over heat ive swapd relays out an new ones
over heat as well ! Im lost what next !

First we need to know when it shuts off is it spark that is lost or fuel. Once we know what it being lost then we can figure out what it going on. PCM's rarely go bad and most that are replaced are not needed. So before replacing a PCM tests are needed but first need to know what is happening.

Has good blue spark all cylnders an injectors are firing
along with good fule presure at rail ! Ive checkd all vac lines an
replaced any that lookd bad isnt vac lockn eather ! Ive orderd
a ecm there are no codes or lights on. I have never had a car do this
it is getin fule spark an air but will not start ! Ive spoken with a fue
ford mechanics at local shops thay seam to thank the ecm is
throwing the timing off casn it not to start thay have checkd it out as well
an are baffled computer shows no codes !

Well I hope that works as that makes no sense that you would have spark and fuel and no start. The computer does control timing but does it through the injectors not the spark plugs. If you can get on I would get a noid light and check to see if there is injector pulse or not. I worked for Ford and have only replaced a handful of computers, not saying it isn't the computer just saying prefer testing before replacing. Let me know how it goes ok.

Oh make sure the computer comes programmed otherwise you will be going to Ford to have that done.

Well it was the ecm its nolonger overheating relays
an restarts everytime ! Ive never had an ecu do that !Usaly thay
just die ! Thanks for all the help !
