my back passenger quarter panel was hit, now my 2004 Ford Freestar wont start or stay running more then a few seconds. It turns over fine, but sounds like it is running lean. What happened?

Hello,

There is an inertia switch that sounds like it has gone off and needs to be reset by pushing the top button down. Here is the location and a diagram (BELOW) to help you get the problem fixed.

Remove the jack access cover on the RH side interior rear quarter trim panel.
Remove the parts in the order indicated in the following illustration and table.

Please let us know what happens.

Cheers, Ken
