I have a 2004, Crown Victoria. My cold air went out and I can't afford to fix it. Can I disconnect the compressor and still have heat? It's a v8-4.6
if so what can I disconnect, if any thing, to make the heat work properly. I would appreciate any help you can give me.

If you don't have pressure in your a/c system it won't start the compressor anyhow so you needn't disconnect anything. If you MUST disconnect something then unplug the compressor.
