The other day I noticed that I was riding without any oil in the truck. It started shaking and that's what made me check the oil. I got an oil change and a tune up. It still shaking so now Im trying to figure out what's going on now. It wasn't shaking until the engine situation. So what should I do now?

Has the check engine light come on? Was the engine knocking or ticking when the oil was low? What all was done with the tune up?

Is this the 5.2 engine? Loss of oil can result in low oil pressure during start up, which wont pump the lifters up quickly enough to put pressure against your rocker arms. One may have fallen off. Ive seen this numerous times. Usually it will have a loud ticking from the intake, depending on whether an intake, or exaust rocker was dropped.

Yes the engine light is on. So far the spark plugs has been changed so far and 1 boot has been changed. We're going to replace 1 boot at a time bc of the price of them. No I don't remember the engine knocking if so it wasn't loud enough to be noticed. Now after the oil change I noticed it knocking. Its a V8 4.7L engine
