I would like to replace the Transmission Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) on my car. What are the steps I need to follow in order to access the VSS and swap it out? I think I should be removing the driver side front wheel and splash guard, but any advice/directions/instructions would be a big help.

Hi Danny. So based on the diagram labelled Rear RH side of engine compartment and from where I see the belts are on the engine, it looks like the VSS is actually on the passenger side of the car. Should I remove the passenger front wheel and splash guard to get to the VSS?

Hello again.

Yes, that might make it easier to access than going in through the top under hood. I've attached picture steps below on how to remove the inner fender liner. Although the steps are for the driver side the passenger side is the same. It calls for removing the splash shield so I included those steps as well. Keep us updated or let us know if you have any further questions on this issue. Hope this helps and thanks again for using 2CarPros.
