P0106 code started recently. Vaccuum checked cant find a problem. Ordered new MAP sensor. Before installed car started stuttering at 45mph going up a hill when attemptin to maintain constant speed. If accelerate stuttering tends to go away. (Cant keep accelerating the whole way up a hill! Speeding tickets would be a nightmare!) Replaced Map sensor and spark plugs. Problem still present. Plugs looked good - mechanic indicated they did nto appear to need to be changed. Not sure where to go from here. Car is required for my job and cant afford a new one. Please help

Tis lis kind of a common problemf this is a 6 cylinder engine. My son's does the same thing. Clean the throttle body with choke cleaner and if need be the intake as well. If worse comes to worse you'll have to replace the throttle body if the shaft is worn to much. They get gunked up and set this code for the map. It seems to do this more in colder weather than any other time.
