Enter your question.I have a 2004 Chevy silverado 2500 HD 4x4 pick up truck. My question realates to the operating capabilities when the truck is in 4x4H. Can I shift into 4x4 while moving, and if so @ what max speed? When in 4x4h can I drive @ 55mph on the road?

If conditions require 4x4, you shouldn't be driving that fast. I would recommend going over 40 mph. And yes, you can shift on the fly into 4wd.
