Message Center message on my car

Why does the change engine oil message come on when my car isn't due for an oil change?

The people who did the oil chance didn't reset the computer. On the 04, turn the key to the run position with the engine off and press the throttle to the floor 3 times and wait. That should reset it. Do that after each oil change so the computer knows when the next one is due.
