is hard to replace water pump on my 2004 chevy aveo or need to take to shop! water is comeing out next to the fan belt by the water pump and car is over heating bad and now the batter light is on can not see it to good its back and down by the fire wall also no heater until i put water in ! need to take care of it before it gets to cool.

If the water pump is leaking it is timing belt driven so replacing the timing belt will be highly recomended too. It is not the easiest thing to do. If you are not very mechanical then I would say take it to a trusted shop. It don't say exactly how long but I am going to say probably 3-4 hours min.
