Hi,

I'm having issued with the automatic door locks. When I shift into Drive, all the doors lock. When I Shift back into park, they wont unlock automatically. So all my doors are locked all the time and i'm afraid I will get locked out.

Are there sensor on the shift lever box that could be malfunctionning? Thank you,

Was this the way it worked previously?
Does using the locking and unlocking switch work?
Does turning the ignition off unlocks the doors automatically?

I dont know if it's the way it worked préviously since I bought it 6 months ago ans has been like this since. The power locks buttons work well in both locking and unlocking.

Turning the ignition off does not unlock the doors.

My previous car had this feature too but it would unluck when shifting back into park.

Thanks.

Something is wrong here. Even if the feature is not available, turning the ignition switch off should unlock the doors for auto locking systems.

The power door locks are controlled by the Body Control Module (BCM) and a scan tool would be required to check through the system to see if any signal is not being received to unlock the doors.
