Hi there my gearbox failed so I have replaced it with a new one now my car will not go into gear and I cant press the clutch pedal down did I do something wrong in reassembly?

Did you clamp the hydraulic hose?

Is this a manual transmission? If so, do you get a grinding sound from the transmission when you try to shift? Also, can you place it in gear with the engine off?
