Problems with my EGR valve

My exhaust emmision light came on and was running lumpy. I bought a new egr valve but still have same problem many thanks

Did you clean out the EGR ports thoroughly? And make sure it works

Thanks rasmataz. Its a brand new egr valve but how do I clean the ports out and where bouts will I find em.

Where it attaches and everything that's connected to it-check what's the diagnostic code no. For the EGR

Hi rasmataz. Ive not had it plugged in to a diagnostic machine yet but think I may have to. I been told that it cant be anything serious as it only egr valve. What do u rekon? Many thanks
