Air conditioner works good most of the time and then all of a sudden, the refrigerant comes out in a vapor cloud like it, s building up pressure and some kind of relief valve is opening; I replace the fluid (till the sight glass stops bubbling) and it works ok for a while and then will do it again after a few days or so - I suspect maybe a seal in the compressor is failing, what do you think? I had it checked out by Toyota and they said everything checks out all right (till I get to FL and thats where I run into problems

You may have a partial blockage and is causing pressure to build up. Best thing to do is when you get to fl have it checked there because the freon is always effeted by temp. You could have to much in the system or a partial blockage causing it to discharge into the vapor. Especially if you are adding at a cooler temp then going to a hotter temp causing this.
