My car sits outside since there are no more garage spots. It started snowing a few days ago so my car has been sitting outside about 2 days covered in snow. Today I got in the car and turned it on to let it warm up while I scraped the windows. When I got back in, the engine had shut off (the radio and lights were still on). I tried to start the car but it wasnt working! It just made clicking noises. I know it cant be a problem with the battery because we just got a brand new battery AND alternator. So what up with my car:(

Make sure connnections are tight on battery first. Then check to see if it will turn over, might just be a loose connection. Then check underhood fuses
