Maybe a problem with security system? If you leave the key in the on position, does the security lite stay on? Can you check for trouble codes? At the least, you need an obd2 code reader that will read generic as well as manufacturer specific codes. Make sure it will work with your year--make--model.

If it is a security issue, you can try a relearn procedure, don't know if it will work?

With key on, if security lite is on, leave the key on till the security lite goes out. May take about ten minutes, then turn key off for 5 seconds. Repeat procedure twice more for a total of 30 minutes. The last time you turn the key off and then to crank, the relearn should be done and the engine will crank.

Best thing I ever did with my montana was to have all the rediculous security system removed at the dealer, I just have to manually lock doors, but it's not gonna leave me stranded in the woods because of a poorly designed security system you cant by pass
