I installed new air conditioning system in my car I bought a kit in auto zone compressor dryer expansion valve etc and the compressor sometimes engage and sometimes not I purged the system oil flush charge refrigerant pressure is on 42 it runs and suddenly quits

You're going to need an enhanced scan tool to diagnose this. It has a 3 wire pressure switch that delivers a specific pressure to the computer and the computer responds accordingly. You would need to monitor that pressure to see f there is any issue with the pressure reading.
