Hello I have a question on the air charge temperature sensor for this car.

I had the car put on a computer and it said that this sensor is reading high temp. I installed a new sensor to find that the car still does the same thing (it is idleing at 2200 rpm and the motor is missing sometimes at higher rpms) I found a website that tells you that you can check these sensors with an ohmeter. The website says that a new sensor at 68 degrees F should read 30k ohms. I found that the new sensor that I got is reading 1.9K ohms at 68 degrees. The new sensor when heated comes down to 800 ohms and then when cooled back to 68 degrees it reads 1.9K ohms. The old sensor that I took out was reading 60 ohms even when heated so it appears to be bad. I do not know if the new sensor I received is good or bad because nothing changed when I installed the new sensor and a website says that it should be 30 K at 68 degrees. Just needing some troubleshooting help on this one. I appreciate any info that you can give me. THANK YOU

How are you heating this thing. Are you sure that you even have the right sensor? What engine do you have?
