I have a 2003 Nissan Pathfinder and believe I am having a brake problem. The brakes seem to work fine under normal driving conditions. But I am applying the brakes in the smow and if the car slides a bit while applying the brake I get low grinding sound and the brake feels hard as the brake goes down. Could this be bad rotors.

It sounds like the abs is activating. Do you have abs on the car

The pedal will vibrate as it is pulsing the pedal to stop the car

This is exactly what it's doing but making a growling sound. Is this normal? Should I be concern?
