2003 Mazda 6 I have 2 problems

1st problem I have with the car is with the transmission I think. The car wont backup when I put it on reverse I would have to put it on drive and wait then put in on reverse.

2nd problem my car has a thing it does when I'm driving and it hits the 3rd rmp it kinda hesitate and makes a noise like boom when I turn

Check trans fluid level if you can when hot if not dark brown add some if needed. Then take to a trans guy and have them scan for codes for it. However it may be a bad seal or clutch pak internally
