Drove to car wash five days ago washed it got in it went to use my auto shift an said third gear never had any tranny problems before never slipped never made a pop nothing ran great have gotten coded for input/ output speed sensors replaced them didn't fix it then got code for TPS replaced it didn't fix it so that night started looking for a bare wire well found crank shaft position sensor burnt touched the wire an coating just crumbled an fell off thought okay found the problem I replaced it now car shift from 1st 2nd 3rd goes to fourth but does not engage an drops out an goes back into 3rd gear limp mode I turn car off start it an it repeats the process now every morning I go to start my car it acts like battery is dead then finally starts but if I go to drive off cuts out an does does this 4 time trying to leave my house as finally leaving car is cutting out all way down road till get on highway an runs fine doesn't do it again until next morning but I am still in limp mode now today car wouldn't do nothing as try to start in park so I slipped it in neutral an starts right up. I'm at point I don't know what's wrong checked everything dumped tranny fluid twice changed motor oil it's my only vehicle so have to keep driving car does have some aftermarket parts but been on it for awhile never had any problems also when stuck in third gear going up a overpass I feel a vibration an car gear changes are way to soon its trying to go into 4th gear at 40mph before it was like 55 60 an when going threw first to 4th sometimes hard shifting sometimes can take off kinda quick an shift fine till 4th gear than back into limp mode we go plz help tired of spending money I don't have to try to fix something that is not fixing the problem need help ASAP thanks a bunch

With the wire burnt up it may have damaged a module or even wiring in trans have it scanned for codes by a trans guy it may be internal problem in trans as well due to mileage and age.

Today my car was started running pretty bad wouldn't go over 3000 rpm on highway drove it home put it in park revved it up won't go over 4500rpm turned it off to go open garage door went to start an just cranks over lost fire to number 4 plug replaced crank shaft sensor. Still nothing an then my car wouldn't come out of park finally did now just cranks over scanner saying crankshaft sensor circuit A malfunction don't know what that means I'm use to old cars that's only code showing up

Scan for codes like I said I think you may have damaged more than you think a pro may have to do this. All because of the burnt wire.

Scanned got just p0445 an p0448 I'm just not getting fire an fuel pump is working but plugs are not wet I kept popping ssnr fuse fixed that I drove car for almost week after replacing crank shaft sensor

One other thing with this if it doesn't start it may be security so try resetting that if no manual look online. Those two codes deal with evap canister purge solenoid and vent solenoid shorted out. Not sure if that will stop car from starting but should be fixed anyhow. One solenoid is on right top of engine and other under center of rear seat. I have no further suggestions or comments

New problem got car running now it's running so rich gas fumes you can smell inside car it burns your eyes running very rough to were it dies when your stopped take it out on highway you can ease into to It if you floor it car acts like it dies let off give it has again car is still running Idk Whats wrong with while it's idling you see black an blue smoke so I know it's running very rich my borla exhaust was chrome turned black I sprayed some water in it an started it revved it up hard an seemed to run better but got two black spots were carbon or oil I think its carbon shot out of exhaust also when car is in park you can rev it up 6 grand if you wanted but put it in drive car fumbles acts like its bout to clear out when your getting on it makes really weird noise like can't explain it an then car sometimes will run normal till you let off the gas should I just drive it try to blow out carbon also befor car wouldn't run with gas cap on now after cleaning charcoal canister car runs little bit better with gas cap on it won't try to die as fast when idling

You start a new post with each question not keep coming back to original writer. Check your fuel pressure with a gauge you may need an adapter autoparts rent it.
