My car has been in the shop for all of 2014. They say the ECU is fried, and I cannot find another. Will any other number work?

It has to be the same part number. A dealer doesn't have access to one? The car isn't that old.

Thanks---& no, The only 391114x510 ecu I can find is in Russia---and I could not figure out how to order it.
