Air bag light went on. What do I do?

Hello,

Airbag error light gets illuminated when there is an issue with any of the airbag components. It can be a sensor, faulty wiring or it can be the module.
The first step would be to get the vehicle scanned for air bag fault codes.
Also keep in mind that if the airbag light is illuminated the airbags might not work when they need to deploy.
Many of these Sonata's had issues with the clock spring which triggered the airbag light. The clock springs allows the steering wheel to turn while keeping constant contact with the airbag.
So it is a good chance you have a faulty clock spring.
