Fuel mileage

I recently replaced my mass air sensor in my 2003 GMC Sierra 2500 HD pickup. Garage told me my fuel pump was bad, not! Then I noticed my fuel milage went from approx 14-15 mpg to 10-12 mpg. Can that be adjusted?

No, it can not. The computer maintains a constant 14.7:1 air/fuel ratio at all times. Your MAF is reading the correct amount of incoming air now so you are getting the corresponding correct amount of fuel.
