I have a F350 7.3 4x4 crew cab. I lost all electrical power in the truck. I smelled wires burning. I looked around and noticed the selonoid motor connected to the starter motor that the back of it, the metal melted. what could have caused this? thank you

Start by checking all the fusible links and its wiring the power comes from the links before it gets inside the vehicle

lost some of your post.

I assume you mean you lost all electrical power. I would start at the batterys to make sure they are ok along with the connections. then you need to find the fusible links which are inline fuses that protect the vehicle.

I would start there.
