2003 Ford F-250 6.0 turbo diesel

My dad bought me a 2003 king ranch 6.0 diesel I'm 17 and do a little me mechanic work but the egr system is out of my zone I was wondering how hard is it would be for a mechanic to put it on if I gave him the kit or how hard it would be to put it on myself

If you are referring to the egr cooler, I suggest leaving it to a shop as the cab has to be raised to gain access to the cooler.

It is not a good idea to provide part. The shop will increase the labor for the loss to there profit. Besides, there will be no warranty on the job if you provide the parts.
