Engine swap

My father is considering swapping the old engine with another one of the same type with less miliage. What we aren't sure of is that whether the existing engine has an EGR valve and where it would be located? Can anyone help?

Good morning,

The valve is on the top of the upper intake.

Procedures and pictures below.

REMOVAL
1. Remove the air cleaner outlet tube.

2. Remove the EGR valve to exhaust manifold tube (if equipped).
1 Remove the two differential pressure feedback EGR sensor hoses.
2 Disconnect the EGR valve tube fittings.

3. Disconnect the EGR valve vacuum hose.

4. Remove the two bolts and the EGR valve.
Discard the gasket.
