Stedometer issue

Dodge caravan 2003, spedometed frozed behind the stop pin, every thing else work fine, how can I fix this problem?

1. Drive at over half the maximum speedometer reading. The pointer looks for the shortest way back to "0" and right now that's clockwise. Once you hit the speed at which the shortest way to the desired setting is counter-clockwise, the pointer will go there, then it will follow vehicle speed back down to "0".

2. Use the Chrysler DRB3 scanner to run the gauges test. It will run all of them to 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, and full scale, then back down to "0". The speedometer will bounce over to the 3/4 setting, then full scale and back down.

3. Remove the plastic cover and push the pointer counter clockwise down to less than half of the maximum reading.

Obviously the first method is the easiest and fastest.
