2003 Dodge Caravan PO108 MAP

I had multiple code come from the injection wiring harness melting together so I fixed all the wires and all codes went away except the po108 the is the MAP so I'm lost on what to do. Now while engine run I unplugged the MAP sensor and it didn't change the idle or anything

Have yo utried replacing map? It may have burnt it up. Or melted the rubber around it so it can't get good vacuum or the wiring to that may have melted as well it' son intake manifold maybe under it, see pic

No I haven't replaced it yet cause I've seen a few things saying a bad PCM can throw a map code off and the injection circuit can also but I was just confused when I unplugged it an there was no difference in idle.

When start up is does a cycle of a miss and then it idle ok and u can drive it just doesn't wanna run correct still have a slight miss under acceleration and I can clear it and it comes back on same code

Check the harness to the map and there shold be a rubber grommet around wher eit plugs into the intake if it's not there or partially melted as well as a bad map can cause that.

So go with a MAP SENSOR and replace it cause it's on the same wiring harness as the fuel injector so it's possible it junk/fired the map here is what the harness looked like
