I did not receive a confirmation e-mail to comfirm you received my question on my electrical issues. Please let me know it you did but running lights come on and the door locks try to lock and the van makes that dinging sound like your keys are in the ignition with the door open. All of this happens when the keys are out of the van and all doors are shut

I don't think there is an e-mail message that your question was posted. You'll get an automated one directing you back to that page when a reply is added. If you think you're not getting those e-mails, leave the page open in its own tab, and refresh it periodically to see if there's a reply.

As for your problem, I think I read it earlier. My first suspicion would be the Body Computer but I don't know enough about your model to warrant posting a reply. We use very complicated and unreliable computers on all systems in vehicles now that never needed computers before, and when unusual things like this start to occur, a computer is the usual suspect. Unfortunately the engineers at GM have figured out ways to force you to go back to the dealer, and one of them is to have new computers programmed to your vehicle before they will work. You can't even buy a good used one from a salvage yard.
