My broken alternator's P/N is GM P/N : 10448038.

My broken alternator's P/N is GM P/N : 10448038, 14V, 140Amps (Valeo) and I could not find the exact part. Can I replace it with 12V, 120amps without getting any trouble?

No you must replace it with the same amp rating alternator.

Go to a parts store. The numbers may not be the same but the amp ratings will be
