After replacing the steering column do you have to have a turn key to reset the computer?

Computer shouldn't need reset after steering column replacement on this vehicle but if it has codes here is how you clear them

Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

There is no re set. You can remove a battery cable but it wipes out a lot of needed info for driving

what is the issue?

If we have service engine light and we do diagnostic. Machine said it was burning to rich. We had a bad exhaust manifold that my husband changed out himself. The car still runs like crap. Will this be corrected if we go somewhere and clear the codes on the computer? Is the car still trying to make up for the errors?

He could have left off a vacuum line but it still cold be the computer. You need a code scanner of some type to erase the code. The part he changed may not have fixed the car.
