Does this only happen on the dalay setting? Do they park where they should when you have them turned off?

Yes, when on delay the wipers stop in up position(straight up&down in middle of wind-
sheild)when all other cars the wipers delay in down position. They seem to park where
they should when turned off. Another sympton is that the linkage from wiper motor arm
keeps popping off at times but at times is stays on for weeks.I replaced this wiper
motor probably 2-3years ago & it has popped off probably 10-15 times. Now this last
time it popped off(Monday)i reconnected it & when I put wiper blade arms on & turn
on wipers the passenger side works but the drivers side looks to go the wrong way or
something. Does the motor have to be in certain possition along with wipers?

Well, the wiper motor has to be in the park position when the wipers need to be installed. However, based on your desctiption, it sounds like there is a problem with the linkage. The wipers shouldn't try to fight one another. Have you checked the linkage?

Incase u did not get my email yesterday, I couldn't wait any longer 4 ur reply so Wed-
nesday I removed all of it 2 replace the board&look it all over. Made some calls 4
pricing & found out that motor has lifetime warranty so I swapped it, carefully re-
connected linkages&wiper arms. It is now working correctly. Thanx 4 ur time

I'm sorry I didn't get back sooner. I try to get to my emails as often as possible. Regardless, I'm glad it's fixed.

I hope you have a good Christmas, and thanks for using 2carpros. Com.
