My 2003 chevy venture dvd player will not show any audio or visual but it still reads the dvd correctly and plays the dvd as if the audio/visual worked

Internal back light problem more than likely, the head unit will have to be repaired by a radio tech, get a few quotes first so you know what you are up for.
