I suspect my ignition switch is acting up. After removing the upper dash pad, the wood grain center trim, radio and a/c unit I can see the ignition switch through the radio opening. After removing the ignition cylinder and the 3 retaining screws from the switch, I just cannot get the switch out through the radio opening due to there being no room behind the switch to manouver it out. Am I missing something? Hope you can help

I'm sorry that information doesn't help me. I have already removed the lock cylinder and bolts holding the switch in the dash panel. The problem seems to be the air ducting behind the switch housing. There just isn't enough room to maneuver it out through the radio opening. I can get my whole hand around the switch but can't get it out. It seems to me it must have been installed on the dash prior to the dash being put in.

Thanks anyway

Ron

That is what we have in our manual so you may have to move around to get it to come out.
