Excessive smoke when starting car and overheating

When I start my 2003 DTS Cadillac there is a lot of smoke coming from the exhaust and the car over heats ! There are 146,000 miles and this problem just started over the weekend

Sounds like you have head gasket issues. Cant overheat these motors without causing damage.
With the mileage, I would suggest replacing the motor.
