22 inch rims on it would it bother my transmission?

I have a 2003 cadillac deville and I was wondering if I was to put 22 inch rims on it would it bother my transmission someone told me I would have to put air shocks on my car to lift it up and I was wondering if my transmission would get messed up

Not really for the trans but yoru front suspension surely will.

I believe the transmission may suffer some damage too. It can cause inaccurate speedomter readings, and cause lugging, this can cause it to overheat.
