I was replacing the tcc solenoid got the old one.

I was replacing the tcc solenoid got the old one out out the new one in and went to put the clip that holds it in and it fell off when I went to slide it in, do I need to pull the transmission out and find the clip or will it hurt anything inside there?

The clip went behind the valve body. Did you try to use a magnet?

I worry that it will get somewhere it is not supposed to be.
It may be ok, just not sure.

Get a new clip on the solenoid.

I don't believe it went behind the valve body but on the front side where the pan is can't be for sure where it went I tried using a magnet but haven't got a hold of it
