There ia a special jig required to align the cam and a pin for the crank. If it slipped a few teeth, most likely has bent valves which will require removal of the heads.

I have the similar problem with my Audi A6 2.5TDi V6 2003. The mechanic has done everything but the issue is the timing. The cover are broken where the timings are so difficult to know the right position. Someone to help me with a PDF timing marks for the covers please?

Good morning,

There are no marks for the timing. There is a special tool installed to lock the cam gears in place and the crank gear in place for setting the timing.

As I stated before, if the timing is not correct, good chance there is valve damage to the engine.
