When it is cold out and I start the car for the first time of the day it runs for 3 seconds and turns off. I got P0107 and P0122 codes. After a handful of starts doing this the issue clears up and the car runs fine the rest of the day until it gets cold again.

Hi,

The codes are for the MAP sensor and the throttle position sensor. Both indicate a low voltage.

If you clear the codes, which one comes back first? I ask because in most cases, the fix is the replacement of the sensor. However, since both are set, I'm questioning if it is a connection issue. Have you checked the connectors at the sensors?

I attached a pic below showing the locations of the two sensors. Note they are close to each other. Check to make sure the connectors and wiring are in good condition and not corroded and not damaged.

Let me know what you find.

Take care,

Joe
