When I turn on the defrost or close the return air. The brake light turns on. When this problem started the ac stopped working also? Thank u for Ur help!

Check for broken / shorted wires in the trunk lid wiring loom. Open trunk lid fully and check wining in the top right and left looms (rubber
accordion looking hoses).
