Had the rear main seal done where the flexplate.
2002 SUZUKI XL7
Had the rear main seal done where the flexplate had to be removed by a mechanic. Now the flexplate is broken in the middle. What could cause that:
have the same problem?

Over tightening the bolts can cause this. Of not having it sitting flush on the crankshaft as well.
