When driving it sputters on acceleration and just driving any speed.I give it more gas it usually speeds up. I’ve had it to the shop and have changed everything on it the codes have thrown.
I’ve change fuel filter, spark plugs, wires coil, map sensor, air idle control valve. Valve cover gaskets, oil pan gaskets. Now thinking the O2 sensors. My boyfriend ordered some. Come to find out the O2 sensors are for a 2003/2004 Subaru Legacy. My car is a 2002 Subaru Legacy. I’m wondering if they would work on my 2002?
If any other advice on what the problem could be, would be awesome!

Hello,

Are the pins the same on your vehicle's old O2 sensor and the new one's the same? If they both have four pins then you should be okay. New O2 sensors are always a good thing, but usually these will be associated with a vehicle throwing a too rich, or too lean code, DTC P0172 or P0174 respectfully. Here is a possibility that you might want to check out, this could be a Throttle Position Sensor (TPS), or a throttle body problem. Here is a link for you to go to to better explain this:
