I have the truck listed above Silverado. It started on a Monday and then the next day, the key will turn over and crank but it will not start. Any suggestion would be really helpful, thank you in advanced.

Couple things. We need to check for codes to start. If you don't have a code reader or scan tool then do you see the theft light remaining on or does it go out when you turn the key on?

Your engine needs spark at the right time, fuel, and compression. Here is a guide that will run through the basics so we can get thinking about what we need to check. However, hopefully we can get some codes that will narrow this down for us.

The most common cause after a security issue is a crank sensor. If we don't have spark or fuel then then this is the direction we will go assuming there are no codes or we can't get them.
