I have an 02 Saturn Vue with 2 problems,
1. The service wrench light comes on after a few seconds of being put in gear, scanned get code C3895 which is a chassis code.
2. The radiator fan turns on normally when it is suppose to but once its running it does not shut off on it's own, have to cycle the key to get it to turn off

Hello yes it does its a first generation early vue so it only has one speed, it has the relay and the 40 amp fuse. Comes on when it is suppose to but doesn't shut off when it is suppose to, only way to get it shut off once running is to key cycle
thanks

Never seen the fans stay on in a vue but on the L seris saturns tons of them and it was fan relays sticking. The most common loose connections I have seen on those is when you open the under hood fuse box. You will see some 7mm bolts those hold the connectors in the fuse box tight. See if there loose?

Thanks will check, also I noticed the cooling fan relay does get quite hot once the fan keeps on running I tried swapping out the relay with the rear defroster and it didn't make a difference and fuse appears to be fine, also someone suggested ecm but if it was the ecm it would throw dtc codes as well? Thanks

Honestly most the bad ecms I have replaced didnt have codes to tell there were bad. When bcms ecms etc go bad they usually dont tell on themselves.

Alright thanks checked the three bolts in the fuse box, all are tight, so could it be a bad relay even though it turns on when it is suppose to but doesn't turn off when it is suppose to doesn't turn off when it cools off, or when I turn the defroster mode on and off. Any ideas my live data shows the ect gets to 188degrees F but does not turn the fan off unless key cycling.
Thanks
