Car was missing badly. Misfire # 1. No electrode on plug. Put new NGK plugs and coil boots and air intake valve. Still random Misfire. Code came up Cam sensor, but this car has none so replaced ICM. Runs better with slight burp sound about every 10 Seconds. Gets worse with AC on and code Misfire on #1. Mech said he would bet on Injector? Would a coil pack cause this problem as I'm Easter egg hunting now. After a full dose of fuel injector it ran great for two days? But problem back.

If its a random miss fire I would suspect the coil pack especially if its worse with the ac on. Haven't really seen a lot of bad injectors on those. You can always swap the injector position and see if the miss fire follows without wasting your money on one.

It had Random misfire and replaced ICM. Replaced GM Plugs with NGK and new coil boots Had just put new timing chain, but ran OK. I have a new injector, but read in one Saturn thread that a coil pack was a likely suspect, since it runs worse or better with AC on?

It sounds like a coil breaking down like I said before with the ac or power braking It in drive where its missing its usually ignition system issues.I have worked on these cars since they came out in 2000.
