The best thing to do is once you get the bolt out of your vehicle, would be to take it down to your local hardware store. Hardware stores usually have a great selection of fasteners, hose clamps, brass connectors for vehicle plumbing, etc. Go to the fastener section and they should have a sizing card there. Find the hole that the bolt shank fits through snugly and there it is. Determine if the thread pattern is coarse or fine and go get one the proper length. It usually should be under a dollar.
