Low coolant light

My low coolant light comes on randomly and I have checked the levels are good. What could be wrong? Thanks Debbie

There is a sensor in the overflow jug that turns the light in when the level is low. If it is full and the light is still coming on, chances are the swith is going bad or corroded.
